I love the sinister tones, here. The green glow in the foreground looks like some kind of radioactive waste, swamp goo, or the effects of dark magic. The trees are huge and intimidating, adding to the ominousness.
Very impressive, powerful impact. The evidence of catastophe in the foreground. The dark forest looming beyond, hiding its secrets, the source of the disaster. The lines of eerie green light form the final touch. Is this the spirits of the dead rising, perhaps caused by the dark power of the forest? Or is this the force that brought about the disaster? Excellent. Use of colors is very good. Clarity is excellent.
nice work! i would have liked to see more depth translation between the sword and the trees behind though. right now the values flatten out out the depth of feild. i like the framing with the trees and the two round objects on the sides. I think the top left sorner could have used an interesting feature though. my eye is atracted around the piece but stops and finds nothing new in the top left corner. perhaps some crows or a tworn flage in the trees would have been interesting.
